Since June 15, 2021, you have the opportunity to flexibly collect points for your personal Generali Leistungsklasse (LK) outside of official team matches or tournaments.

All made possible by Wingfield’s technology. Arrange to play on the Wingfield court, play an official LK match, have your score automatically checked, move up in your LK.

What are the requirements?

To use a Wingfield court, you first need to download the free Wingfield app from one of the relevant app stores and create a user account. With this account, you log in to the Wingfield Box so that match data and videos can be synchronized with the app after the match.

In order to be able to play LK matches with Wingfield, the Wingfield account has to be activated. For this, only the personal DTB player ID is stored in the account. For the processing of a Wingfield-LK match, 12.99 EUR will be charged per player*.

How does it work?

After you have logged in to the course with the activated account, the LK mode can be started at the Wingfield box and the match can be played. After the match, you confirm your result at the box and release it for independent verification. If no inconsistencies are detected, the result will be forwarded to the DTB after successful validation and will be included in your LK at the next possible calculation date.

How does the testing process work?

The verification process is based on a two-factor validation. During the match, various factors such as individual player behavior or possible rule violations are analyzed by Wingfield’s artificial intelligence and the result is subsequently approved. However, if there are any inconsistencies in the match, critical sections are automatically flagged in the match data set so that pre-filtered video sequences can be independently reviewed. If there are no more concerns after this review process, the match is released for official scoring.

What has to be considered?

In principle, all players over the age of 13 are entitled to play LK matches with Wingfield. At the same time, the general conditions of participation apply, as for tournaments and medal matches. Each player must be a member of a club and have an active DTB ID number, which is stored in the personal Wingfield account.

In addition to the LK matches, Wingfield offers you a range of tools that can be used in different training situations – regardless of whether you are just being introduced to the sport or want to tickle the last percent out of you.

For the first time, you and your trainer have the opportunity to use the collected data to measure your performance development in various areas. Your training progress can be tracked after each exercise as part of a TARGET-ACTUAL control, which can provide extremely valuable insights for training planning and control.
